Digital Product Passport: what brands and their suppliers need to prepare

Data, traceability and documentation architecture that the DPP will soon require.

The Digital Product Passport (DPP) is the mandatory digital passport that the EU is rolling out for textiles, footwear and leather goods. Each item must be linked to verifiable information on origin, composition, sustainability and circularity.

    What information it will include

    • Origin of raw materials and country of processing
    • Detailed material composition
    • Environmental certifications (LWG, ZDHC, etc.)
    • Care, repair and recycling instructions
    • Unique product identification

How to prepare the supply chain

The first step is to require a complete digital technical dossier from each supplier. At Curtidos Segorbe, we already deliver every batch with structured data ready for integration into DPP systems: documented traceability, chemical information and environmental footprint.
